Liz Gregory
Liz Gregory is the Co-Founder and Manager of the Gloriavale Leavers’ Support Trust (GLST), an organisation dedicated to helping former members of the isolated West Coast commune successfully transition into everyday New Zealand society. A former schoolteacher, Liz has spent nearly a decade providing 24/7 crisis management and long-term rehabilitation for what she describes as a domestic “refugee resettlement programme”. Alongside her extensive hands-on support, she acts as a prominent public media spokesperson, co-hosts the Cult Chat podcast, and advocates for the rights and education of cult leavers.
